The Horus Heresy was a war that spanned the entire galaxy, touching every world claimed by Humanity and involving every force of arms. Of these forces, the Skitarii conclaves of the Cult Mechanicus are often ignored by history, for their oaths bound them to a singular task – to safeguard the rarest and most dangerous technological relics at any cost.
This gaming supplement for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy details the secretive Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms of the Mechanicum – the servants of the Fabricator General charged with the recovery of ancient relics and enforcing his will. Contained within is an army list for the most common elements of the Skitarii forces in the Age of Darkness, in addition to supplementary rules that allow you to play exciting relic hunting missions.
This 48-page softcover supplement contains:
– In-depth Lore: Detailing the Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms and their role within the Mechanicum, as well as how the horror of the Horus Heresy split even these stoic warriors between loyalty to the Fabricator General and the wider Mechanicum.
– Additional Missions: The Vaults of Tharsis Legendary Mission and the Relic Hunt Missions Pack, featuring fast-paced missions to recover ancient weapons and devices long thought lost.
– Skitarii Army List: Rules for using Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Marshals, Skitarii Battle-Pilgrym Corpus, Bonepicker hosts, Skitarii Triaros Armoured Conveyor, Skitarii Karacnos Assault Tank, Skitarii Krios Battle Tank, and Skitarii Krios Venator Tank Destroyer in battles, including additional faction rules and new weapons to represent these fearsome warriors on the battlefield.
You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and Liber Mechanicum, both available separately, to make full use of this gaming Supplement.
